Right of Return – Not limiting your rights under law, items purchased on this web can be returned at the cost of the purchaser, for a refund that will be minus a 15% restocking fee, provided the items are returned within 30 days of receiving them as long as the items do not belong to any of the following types or categories: Mattresses or Pillows or Pillow Cases or Toppers, Measurement/Assessment Instrumentation, courses, shielding paint, products purchased in linear lengths other than in possibly available standard length rolls. Unless other possibilities are made available, possibly in promoted statements which may be limited by area or duration.
Refunds will always be reduced by the freight cost, or the reasonably incurred freight cost, in the case of Freight Free Shipping or Upgrades from Free Shipping. – Items should be returned to the place it was sent from, but other options may be available or required. Contact us before returning any items to receive instructions on where and how(!) to send them. Items damaged in transit on their way back to us cannot be accepted for a refund, so please insure your freight.
Any taxes, tariffs or duties you paid as a result of receiving your order from our HQ in Austria cannot be refunded in full or in part. (Orders to Australian clients are normally sent from our local office and no import taxes, tariffs or duties should come into play)
Additional in relation to Shielding Paint:
- Please order what you need as accurately as possible. Because the quality of our shielding paint depends on how it has been stored and handled, we generally do not accept returns. However, to ensure customers can complete their shielding projects with confidence, we will accept the return of unopened buckets up to 30% of the T98 paint purchased for a project/site (rounded down to the nearest whole bucket), with a maximum return of four buckets per project/client/site. However, unless explicitly agreed on in writing, paint that has been in a client’s possession for more than 30 days will not be able to be returned. It is therefore prudent that you start your shielding job shortly after receiving your shielding paint.
Additional in relation to Courses:
- Spots are limited and sometimes fill up very quickly. Overbooking is possible and in case of overbookings, spots are allocated in order of payments received and possible prerequisites being met. In this case, the person deemed to be the overbooking will be refunded their payment in full and unfortunately won’t be able to attend.
- Course are conducted by Blue Remora P/L (Geovital International / Health Stronghold) and financial payments are effectively made with our company in Australia.
- MINIMUM STUDENT NUMBERS (if applicable): Some of our courses are held subject to having a minimum number of students to justify hosting the course. This especially the case for (but not limited to) in-person courses (meaning: not online). Unless we have notified you or stated that the minimum number of students has been reached, you should be aware there is a possibility the course may be cancelled by us at any time before the intended starting date. It would therefor be wise not to commit to expenses like accommodation, car hire and travel, for which you cannot get a full refund in case of cancellation of the course.
- REFUNDS ON SELF-GUIDED ONLINE COURSES: No refunds are available on self-guided online courses.
- REFUNDS ON GUIDED COURSES
- REFUNDS ON GUIDED COURSES ONLINE: a maximum of 50% of your total course fee is refundable up to 6 weeks before the planned starting date of guided online courses, if you choose to cancel your attendance to the course and notify us in writing. In case of a 50% deposit payment or effectively a smaller amount due to a possible early bird offer, this would mean the deposit payment would be forfeited. In case of an early bird offer, you will not owe us anything in addition to what you paid for the early bird deposit on a guided online course. In case of EMF2 (business module standard or business module with Cialdini Influence training included) being part of your purchase or an upgrade, the EMF2 module fee is not subject to any refund. In case of access having been given to an online training portal, this access will also be terminated, with the exception of a possibly included limited-time access to the Cialdini E-learning portal, unless otherwise decided by the Cialdini Institute. Access to teaching or coaching sessions as part of a Cialdini Influence training will be up to our discretion. – Items purchased, especially instrumentation, can typically not be returned for a refund as they are simply no longer new.
- REFUNDS ON COURSES IN-PERSON/ON LOCATION: a maximum of 50% of your total course fee is refundable up to 12 weeks before the planned starting date, if you choose to cancel your attendance to the course and notify us in writing. In case of a payment made by you (a deposit, for example) which was less than 50% of the total course fee, the remainder up to the 50% value of the course fee will remain payable by you if you cancel. Items purchased, especially instrumentation, can typically not be returned for a refund as they are simply no longer new.
- REFUNDS ON BUNDLE COURSES INCLUDING ONLINE AND IN-PERSON/ON LOCATION TRAINING: In case of a bundle purchase which included in-person component and online training, the total course fee will be treated as two seperate amounts in regards to the refunds that apply. The price of the in-person/on location component, as what it sold for at the time of enrolment, will be treated as refunds mentioned in 5.2 above. The remaining amount will be treated for refunds, as per 5.1 above
- In the event that a course needs to be cancelled from our end, a full refund can be organised or payment can be transferred to another course. In case of some or all sessions needing to be cancelled and or rescheduled, Blue Remora P/L cannot be held liable for any costs on your end that this may cause (eg Travel, accommodation, loss of income etc.). In case we have cancelled a course, any discounts you enjoyed on product purchases by using a ‘course discount’ (which may or may not have been on offer) will not be required to be paid back. Regardless of course cancellation, product purchases are subject to the normal right of return terms stated elsewhere in these terms.
- During our courses a level of knowledge is taught which is normally able to be comprehended by those able to enrol. It may however require practice to improve one’s skills. Our aim will be to familiarise you as much as is reasonably possible with the theory and possibly practical component of the training. Beyond this you must fine tune your abilities on your own for which you would likely need to purchase instrumentation or products. When doing in-person courses, you will understand the workings, you will practice with us, and whilst enjoyed and understood by many, we cannot guarantee every individual will master the taught content or skills by the time you finish the course.
- Regarding guided online courses:
- You require a computer with internet connection and a webcam and microphone to attend any live online meeting sessions if they are part of your course. You may also be able to join using a tablet or smart phone which is more mobile but the viewing ability may be reduced.
- In case of access to an online knowledge centre (OKC) being part of your course, you’ll possibly be given access to sections of content in stages.
- The online live meeting sessions may go for several hours. Breaks will be scheduled but you must look after yourself and your wellbeing during class. Remember to stay hydrated, comfortable, stand up, have a stretch or whatever you feel needed to keep you comfortable during class. Feel free to ask for a break.
- Live sessions cannot be, or not easily be repeated if you miss one or must leave early. You should only commit to a guided online course if you are available for all planned dates and times (mind the time zone that dates and times refer to). Having to stop attending one course, may see you being charged to secure a spot in another course.
- Content found in the online knowledge centre (if part of your course) is copyright protected and not to be shared or published. Access is given for one person or one couple. Login activity is monitored and logins from too many devices (in case you’d share your login details with others) will be flagged as misuse and access can be terminated.
- Neither Geovital Austria, Geovital International (trading name of Blue Remora P/L), Blue Remora P/L or its representatives are liable for any personal injury or damage or theft of your belongings. Care is taken to provide a safe training environment. During the classes, you may be exposed to EMF sources from the computer you are using, the locations you visit and accommodation you may use. Advise about suitability of products in certain situations is based on our in-house experience and research. This advise is given with the best intent and felt to be suitable at the time, but we cannot be held liable that product related advise being suitable for your specific situation.
- If prior training (prerequisites) is needed for a course, this will be stated on the information available about the course. At the time of writing the following prerequisites are in place:
- the EMF1 course enrolment is required before enrolling in EMF2
- Enrolment and completion of the week in which we cover the home assessment process (typically 3rd review meeting beyond a possible introductions meeting), OR having completed a CLASSIC course (our GEOVITAL in-person course with theory and practical combined) is required before attending EMF3
- Students and teachers are to treat each other with respect. The host of the event reserves the right to remove people from class for objectionable, rude or disruptive behaviour. In such case, no refund is given. – Approaching other students (like in our online groups) with intend to promote your own services or products or to cause disharmony is not permitted.
- Additional services that are gained access to when buying a course (like student groups in social media, Office Hours online sessions etc.) can be withdrawn or cancelled at any time. Access to online support systems, like the online knowledge centre (OKC), is intended to go on for some time but is not indefinite. The term ‘Lifetime’ in this context is as long as we enable access or use particular hosting systems. In case of some courses, access to the OKC is limited to a predetermined time after which access will be removed.
- If students of professional consultant training equip themselves with the needed instrumentation to execute home assessments AND start a business in home assessments, then Geovital products can be sold by them and commission earned, or possibly bought at a wholesale rate. This is subject to certain agreements and conditions coming into place fitting the type of relationship, and are subject to the student being viewed as a suitable business partner who fits the culture. Permission to sell products online is not automatically included in this. To qualify to become an official Geovital ‘Consultant’, the in-person training must be done because the online courses misses some key ingredients needed to be an official Geovital ‘Consultant’. Without this, the role of Geovital ‘Associate’ is available for suitable individuals who wish to represent Geovital, or a relationship type called ‘Freelancer’ which forms a more distant relationship with us, might be suitable.
- EMF radiation reduction has the aim to support health but this can’t be guaranteed. EMF assessors and trainers should not make any promises or claims about what shielding will do for the health issues of individuals.
- COMPETITION AND CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSE:
- During the training (in-person or online) or informal guidance outside of the formal training duration, during and after this course, you may possibly be given access to knowledge about business-related Geovital / Blue Remora P/L / Health Stronghold procedures, strategies, documents and business agreements. By agreeing to these terms, you agree to this functioning as a confidentiality statement, and you agree not to share, broadcast, make public or do anything else with the information gained in this training that can harm our reputation, reduce our income or growth potential or affect our competitive edge in the marketplace. The information is provided to you for your use privately or in business with your clients only. Not to be shared with others. You understand that if course material and shared information (including training material, online course access, video or audio recordings) was found to be distributed by you willingly or by accident, you are liable for (potential) damages this may have or could cause. We strongly recommend, if you obtain or create video or audio recordings of part of the training (in agreement with us) that you do not store this on your computer or phone.
- By enrolling on a course, you confirm you are not teaching any course that could be competing with this course and/or you agree to not start teaching a course at any time in the future which could be competing with this course or contain components of this course without our express written permission.
- This clause will remain in force for as long as is acceptable by law, and we agree that the maximum amount of damages sought in relation to this Competition and Confidentiality Clause will not exceed a value equivalent to € 500,000 (euro).
